LOVE this Pharmacy. Ira is the single most helpful pharmacist I have ever encountered. Not only does he know all of his regulars (and semi-regulars like me) by name, but he goes out of his way to make sure you understand the medication you’ve been prescribed, even offering helpful non-pharmaceutical products to speed your recovery. The employees are helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere is generally pleasant. They even carry Burt’s Bees and other alternative products. Judi Wagner — Judi is our resident Pharmacist and Herbalist. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. In addition, Judi graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage and the Living with Herbs Institute. She is a member of the American Herbalists Guild, the Georgia Herbalist Guild and the Georgia Pharmacy Association.

Ira Katz — Pharmacist and owner of Little 5 Points Pharmacy. Ira attended Emory University where he received his BS in Chemistry. He is also a graduate of St. John’s University College of Pharmacy. Ira is a proud member of the Georgia Pharmacy Association and member of the Board of Directors of Georgia’s Academy of Independent Pharmacy

Eleanor Walker — Eleanor is a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy and is a specialist in herbs and nutriceuticals. Eleanor is a former owner of an pharmacy in the Athens, Georgia area and loves working as an independent pharmacist.

Atlanta Belly Dance LLC, home of the Nazeem Allayl Dancers, is the largest belly dance studio in the south-eastern United States. Based in Metro Atlanta in three locations, we offer women-only classes taught by women. All our instructors were trained by our founder, Schadia, who has been teaching in Atlanta since 1999. See our dancers perform in Metro area restaurants, or perform yourself in one of our many studio shows or haflas (belly dance party). The best place to learn how to belly dance, or simply get a workout bellydancing and have a good time.

Where to begin? Start with a Middle Eastern Belly Dance beginner choreography class: Each six week course teaches you about 20 moves, then puts them in sequence to form one simple dance. After a few courses, you can start performing in shows and advance to the intermediate level for more complex dances. The pay-as-you-go belly dance workout classes will give you a taste of belly dance while also giving you a great workout. They will introduce you to our studios, and accommodate irregular work schedules.

Combination courses are great for beginners that want to learn belly dance moves, and for more advanced students that want to focus on a particular style of belly dance. Many are therefore “mixed level”, where the instructor teaches basic technique and offers variations that more advanced students can incorporate in their dance.

In 1926 the addresses were renumbered and it became 483 Moreland Avenue as it is today.

Here is a line drawing from the 1980′s showing the first floor porch enclosures. These were done by Earl Johannaber, local contractor and head of Design Science Network.

RESTORATION

In 1994, the main part of the work to restore the building took place. On advice of Pimsler-Haas, the architects, a third story was added to create additional rental space. The cost of the additional story was reasonable with the other building considerations in mind. The strong original base could easily support the addition.

Little 5 points Atlanta, my far one my favorite places on Earth, its so much cutture and life. Only place in atlanta where the good, the bad and the ugly meet respectfully eye to eye. i have been gone for about 2years, but this place is biggest reason why i am ready to move back. i miss zestos and l5p pizza(the best calzone’s ever,prove me wrong) check out my boi cipher kenni,my good friend and wonderful hiphop artist. dis is Meech and i;ll c yall soon
